What to expect at your first consultation

Your first consultation is a crucial step on the journey to restoring your smile. Here’s what you can expect:

Before Your Appointment
Our team will contact you before your appointment to gather information about your dental history and goals. We’ll also ask you to complete a medical history form and provide access to any recent X-rays. If you already have recent X-rays, sharing them with us may save the need to take new ones.

During Your Appointment
Your initial consultation will last up to an hour, giving us plenty of time to:

  • Thoroughly examine your mouth.

  • Discuss your dental and medical history.

  • Understand your goals and concerns.

  • Outline potential treatment options, including implant-related solutions.

This ensures you have all the information you need to make an informed decision at home, with no pressure.

Implant dentistry involves various options and decisions. We are here to guide you through these choices, ensuring you feel confident and informed at every stage. If X-rays are necessary, we will explain their purpose. Should you decide to proceed with dental implants, we may require a CT scan, which we can conveniently arrange on-site.

After Your Appointment
Following your visit, we’ll provide you with a detailed written summary of:

  • What we discussed during the consultation.

  • Provisional treatment decisions you’ve made.

  • A proposed treatment plan, including cost estimates and timescales.

This ensures you have all the information you need to make an informed decision at home, with no pressure.
